Investigation #1 Round 1

A late-winter blizzard has trapped six people in a remote hunting cabin
in the Norwegian mountains. The phone line is dead. The nearest road is
hours away on foot. This morning, Erik Halvorsen — the cabin's owner —
was found in the woodshed with a gash across the back of his head and a
bloodied iron poker beside him. The Detective was the first to arrive
at the body. The other four guests claim to have been asleep or in
their rooms when it happened. Someone in this cabin is lying.

[Narrator]: You are gathered in the cabin's common room. Erik's body lies in the woodshed outside. The blizzard has trapped you here. You begin to ask questions.
Detective: So. What happened?
Tomas Aune: I found him this morning in the woodshed. Went out early to collect some of my tools. He was lying there on the floor with his head split open and that poker beside him. I didn't touch anything—just came straight back inside and told the others.
Marit Sandvik: I... I don't know. I was in my room when I heard the commotion. Someone knocked on my door maybe an hour ago, said Erik wasn't answering. I came down and we found him in the woodshed. I still can't believe it.
Ingrid Berg: I... I don't know. I was asleep until someone started shouting. I went downstairs and someone said Erik was in the woodshed. I can't believe this is happening. Has anyone actually checked if he's really—I mean, is he...?
Henrik Lie: I was in my room when it happened, I'm afraid. Didn't hear anything unusual until the commotion this morning. Dreadful business.
